Tartan Thistle
As part of my #tartantattoo collection, the thistle is not just Scotland’s national flower, it represents, devotion, bravery, determination and strength
I designed this collection as I find myself in my last few weeks of a tattoo career spanning over quarter of a century! Running my award winning tattoo studio in a small town really meant being an all-rounder but my main style and passion lay in Scottish, celtic and bold traditional designs with strong linework. This has transitioned into my love of embroidery and my tartan tattoo collection, an old school tattoo fusion of salvaged tartans and a hint of heraldry.
The skull design measures approx 190mm x 150mm. Every stitch out will be unique as I use salvaged tartans to applique into each piece.
Washing instructions: As all of these garments contain 100% pure new wool, it is advised to wash inside out, on a cold setting , slow spin and hang dry. Do NOT tumble dry.
These unisex heavyweight organic hoodies are available in a range of colours and sizes from Small to 3XL. Other sizes and styles are available by request and I am also happy to stitch onto your own clothing. These look particularly nice on denim jackets contact me for more info.
