Nannie and Megs Tail Giclee Print

£30.00

From my “Stitchy Stories from the North East Collection” from the original textile art, I have had these reproduced into limited edition prints, cards and notebooks.

This replica figurehead from the Cutty Sark is based in Inverbervie, the image id of the witch, Nannie, who chases Tam on his horse Meg. Tam and Meg safely pass the keystone on the bridge but not before Nannie has caught hold of poor Megs tail!

ORIGINALS find it here

The original artwork is a multi media textile piece, made from layering fabrics, stitching their shapes, trimming the excess until all layers are in place, I then stitch out the top layer of outlines and details and finish with fabric paints. The full image is stitched onto layers of sandwiched stabiliser, batting and canvas, to bring some dimension to the piece. The originals have all been professionally framed in a beautiful washed driftwood effect frame, measuring 32cm square and 2cm deep, the actual image is approximately 15cm square. A certificate of authenticity has been signed and attached to the back.
